Old Town Cornelius is growing, with new businesses, restaurants, gathering spaces, and community experiences bringing fresh energy downtown.
2nd Saturdays brings it all together. Held every second Saturday of the month, the event connects businesses, public spaces, artists, organizations, and activities from Smithville Park to Antiquity into one shared experience along and around Catawba Avenue.
2nd Saturdays invites you to explore Old Town at your own pace and discover something new, revisit a favorite spot, and enjoy a community tradition that offers a new reason to come back every month.

Grand Opening + Open House
Celebrate Pearson House of Rock’s grand opening with a ribbon cutting at 10:30 AM, live porch performances by The Travel Team throughout the day, and free on-the-spot trial music lessons.
Puckett House Block Party

Bring your friends, family, and don't forget your lawn chair. Take a tour of the new Puckett Pottery House and get to know this exciting new creative space.

Get creative with a sprayed-edge book activity in the gazebo (bring your own or use one of ours), plus kids crafts and activities on the lawn.
