Our Story

For over a decade, Old Town Cornelius has been shaped by the creativity and commitment of residents, small businesses, and local artists who believed in the potential of downtown.

Before it became the vibrant destination it is today, early efforts focused on bringing life back to public spaces through art, events, and grassroots placemaking. Murals, small festivals, and community gatherings helped establish the foundation for what Old Town would become.

Old Town Cornelius Inc. was formed to unify and expand those efforts under a shared mission — strengthening downtown through arts, culture, and community activation.

Today, we continue that work with expanded programming, stronger partnerships, and a renewed commitment to steward

Old Town Cornelius through its next chapter of growth and revitalization.
